The Proposal that will Make a Change

                 All around the world people face violence, torture, inequality, and sometimes even execution. These things sometimes are caused for who they love, who they are, or how they look. Discrimination is the right word that can be used to describe all these actions. People focus on seeing the outside not from the inside. The abuses that have been made throughout the years based on gender identity and sexual orientation. As for torture, arrests for unjust laws, killing and unjust executions, domestic violence, unequal treatment, medical abuses, and denial of family rights. This proves that we need to make a change, a difference that can lead us to a brighter future in which no one will judge for what they see but accept for being the person you are in the inside.

                 Life's about taking chances, making risks, forgiving, and even accepting things that might be difficult to do so but these things makes us see our selves mature in God's eyes. Wont you like God to look at you and smile and be proud for being the person you are? Make a change, forgive, forget, make a difference for you and for everyone. Homosexuality is not accepted in God's eye's but he does love them even though they are doing the wrong thing. God loves everyone, so why wont you do the same? God says "Love thy Neighbor as thyself" if you don't love others that proves you don't love yourself.

                  It's not about accepting Homosexuality but at least respecting it and giving each and every person a right to have freedom, love, respect, and rights. Never judge if you don't look at yourself, No one is perfect. But I propose that we should make a Non- Discrimination Act where everyone will be treated fairly and equally. No one will ever judge for who we love, for who we are, how we dress, how we act or even speak. It will make a change for us and for the homosexuals. Give them a chance, they are human just like us. They have the right to be respected without being judged. This is a step to begin a difference in our world, this is a beginning for a brighter and equally life.


              

Change Makes a Difference

             Going back 100 years before our time period homosexuality was seen to be something evil, a devils son or daughter, something that was so bad that was only resolved with violence and death. But now things have changed, years have passed and things are scene differently. Society has accepted the LGBT Act in which see's everything as normal just like a Straight couple. It had been accepted to persuade others to be gay if they want to, but in the other hand the only one's who do not accept this are the religious people because its against their bible.

           Comparing the amount of people that committed suicide about 10 years ago and comparing it from now, suicide rates have become less than before. Suicide is no longer an option for homosexuals because now that society has considered this as a normal sexual orientation, homosexuals feel accepted and respected. Things have changed in a way that has been even breath taking because if you look back years from now, homosexuality was condemned to death. Religion has been ignored, because they no longer pay attention to what God's scriptures says. They infesize themselves in what people view things it now and their point of view.

          Sociologists don't base homosexuality in a way that can be referred to biology methods. Its a cont reversal subject because no one really knows if homosexuality comes in a nature or nurture way in humans. I've heard people say "Homosexuality is not bad because their are animals that are also gay and God made them" These things make people seem ignorant. I never question God's scriptures but if homosexuality exists we should respect them because God also says "Love thy neighbor as thyself" We have no right to hate no one for their sexual orientation or preference. But throughout the years things have changed, society has changed, and how people viewed homosexuality has changed also.

Struggle & Activism

        Homosexuals have tried to dealt with this problem of discrimination  for many years now. With the situation of discrimination their was an act in which was formed in the20th century called LGBT Civil Rights Movement, this act has been led to changes in society and media portrayal of homosexuality. It is now legal for same sex marriage and non-gender-specific civil unions. This is one of the major roles of gay rights activism.

         They've tried so much to get the respect they deserve because even though they believe different beliefs and even feel attraction toward their same sex, they are still a normal human beings. Racism has been gone to the point in which it is brought to violence, injustice,  lies, cruelness, and even suicide.Their is no self respect because if we the people don't respect homosexuality they wont accept themselves. Respecting it doesn't mean accepting it, its just a way to give them what they deserve because everyone should have respect.

         They have dealt with situation for many years, they now feel a bit appreciated because society just see homosexuality as something 'normal' and 'accepted'. Back then it was a big deal because Thomas Jefferson made a law in which all homosexual would go through a process in which they would be tortured for being and believing their sexual orientation. They've tried to fight back for what they believe but society has made it hard for them because of the negativity that has been brought to them. They were peaceful throughout the whole process of receiving there LGBT Act, but as for the rest of the people from the United Stated that were against this they only resolved it with violence, discrimination, racism, and cruel verbal and physical actions.

Oppression ;D

            Throughout many years discrimination toward homosexuals has been a big deal and still is today. In the United States about 45% of the people who live there are either, trans gender, bisexual, lesbian or gay. Today in society  it has been some what "accepted". But many people are against also because its either wrong because of there religion or they just think its looks bad. 


               The District of Columbia has California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Maryland, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin have laws that discrimination toward homosexuality or sexual orientation are prohibited. Homosexuality has been a target of a big and severe issue of discrimination by society and other arms of government. As society keeps growing people continue seeing Homosexuality as a different point off view, now they see it as a sociological phenomenon and not as a mental illness. 


              People throughout the whole world treated gay's as if they weren't human beings as us. Throughout the years of the existence of homosexuality more than half of the amount of gay's have committed suicided or attempt of suicide, because of society and it cruel discrimination against them. Especially churches and religious groups do not accept this. As for an example like the KKK, day by day they go throughout the United Stated expressing their hate towards the whites, blacks, Hispanics, and especially the homosexuals.Homosexuality is a big deal when it comes to racism and discrimination in the United States. 

The Beginning of LGBT

           The rise of homosexuality began in 1636, in which it was called LGBT Act. LGBT was and is still stands for Lesbians, Gay, Bisexual, Trans gender. Homosexuality was a big issue back then and still is today. It made history become what it is today. In the 1950's it was illegal to make a pro gay organization in which people can participate and support homosexuality.But going back a little back in time in the 1770's President Thomas Jefferson proposed a law in which gay men would be sent to get castrated and gay women would get her nose cartilage mutilated.

                 224 years later the U.S Supreme Court, finally ended the injustice that were made toward the homosexuals . But still today people are considering homosexuality as if it were something bad and  it is a cruel way in which they treated them. The discrimination continued and it hasn't been extinct in this day. The are more than 8 million homosexuals in this world today, Each day the amount grows even larger. Since the day homosexuality was discovered scientists and sociologists tried to find out if it was nature or nurture and it continues to be a controversial topic.

                      Gays, Lesbians, Trans gender, Bisexual  is still today discriminated in which it is referred as being racist. No one appreciates what they really are inside only what they see in the outside. Homosexuality isn't something we should applaud but at least have some respect toward them even though what they believe or do is wrong. Each person in the world deserve a kind of respect even if their straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, or even trans gender. 

My Thoughts; My Mind...

On Andy's blog it was actually interesting because he did describe how the 'Indians were taken away from their own land as for the "Black Hills". He added many good and quite exiting facts in which in the story of history no one will forget. I HE composed his blog also with the horrifying events that happened like the violence that were made. Between both sides as for the whites and the native americans there were violence and injustice. I liked very much his blog.

On Arshad's blog i agree with him in everything he wrote being he used true facts and believed that the Native Americans should of had their own rights and beliefs. I liked that he described some of the events that happened and use his sincere beliefs and thoughts into his blog. I also liked that he really maintaine his topic on the religion matter because it is true everyone should believe anything they want and not be force to believe something they dont want to.

On Angel's Blog i found it very inspriring on how he wrote. He decribed the events that happened and mentioned almost all of them. I liked that he gave his opinion and also thought the same thing as me has for the whites abusing the Native Americans. He used honesty and it looked that he took time to creat this post. I liked it very much.

On Yaidy's Blog she described the kinds of religions and beliefs the Native Americans had. I like that she gave a very good opinions and at the same time included facts in which could provide to us important information. I liked that she agreed in the same thing as me of thinking that the whites wanted to convert the Native Americans into christians and as themselves. As for now that we know it as "assimilation" That the whites want to take away the freedom from the NAtive Americans to gain theres.  

Ruben's Post is actually was referred in a phycological matter. Everything was majorally based in opinions. He used facts to describe it and used facts that were from back then and facts that were ocurring now in day. He compared both ways and both side as for the whites and Native Americans. He wrote more information because as you can see he used more than 8 paragraphs to compose his Blog. It was shown that he gave is heart and soul into this essay because he gave all his opinions and how he viewed all these events and cruelty that had happened to the Native Americans.

The whites gained their freedom from taking away the Native Americans

The Native Americans were people that had their own beliefs, traditions, costumes, and tribes. These tribes were groups of people in which they believed were family.  They had their own lands in which the Americans tried day by day to take away from them. They couldn't accept that the Native Americans were the ones who discovered these lands first and they came in as immigrants. This came to be known as the Dakota Sioux, and then the people from Dakota were forced to be put into reservation. They were treated differently and weren't treated fairly either.  

The whites tried to force the Native Americans to do something they didn’t want because they believed in different things as in religion and costumes.  The Americans wanted the Indians too believe in Christianity and not in their religion. The whites wanted to change them into something so much different than what they were and taught. They also wanted the Native Americans to change their names into Christian names. They couldn’t conform themselves with taking away their land and lying to them and never paying them what they agreed on doing. The whites tried so much to change the Native Americans as a replica of themselves. This was called in other words assimilation.

The whites forced the Native Americans to move from their home land to benefit themselves from it, in which the only ones who benefit themselves were the whites. In other words they thought about themselves and not the Native Americans or neither in the needs and wants. The congress made an Act in which was called the Indian Removal Act where it was composed to move and relocate the Native Americans from their land to provide the European-American expansion in the United States. It was referred as a way the Americans were gaining and the Native American loosing.

There were violence between the two sides, the whites and the Native Americans. The Native Americans were calm and tried to have passions with the whites. They tried to put violence aside but sometimes it was difficult to handle. In many occasions the whites would contract some tribes from the Native Americans to fight between their race and other tribes. The whites tried anything to get what they wanted. The Indian tribes were known for scalping. It was a method in which was use to use a knife and cut the scalp of and immediately that would let the person to have severe bleeding and die to death. The Indians and the Whites had times that they would battle each other but the Native Americans didn’t have the same armor materials as the whites did. There was a lot of violence, especially in the Wounded Knee Massacre in which there were many lives killed between both sides.

Native Americans suffered from the whites actions. They were never considered as normal human beings that could have their own rights, religions and thoughts. They were treated unfairly until the point that most were massacred cruelly. They were lied, mistreated, and killed, the whites never allowed them to have the certain rights as all people should have had.  The whites wanted the Native Americans to be just like them, they thought there race was perfect and others weren’t it was a way to be shown as “racism”. They tried to force them to believe in a religion they didn’t want to as Christianity. They proved themselves to be a cruel and child hearted people toward the Native Americans. At the end, no one will ever forget about these events that occurred. They will always be remembered in the story of history.
